Playgroups

Chico Mothers' Club has playgroups that are organized into small groups of moms and kids similar in age. Playgroups are a great way to get to know other moms and families and explore Chico together.  Learn more about how Playgroups work in our Playgroup Guidelines.  

Mommy & Me Walks

We meet up weekly for some fresh air and exercise.  Moms will walk, while the kiddos ride (stroller, bike, baby carrier,etc.)

Monthly Events

CMC offers events for all ages every month and numerous field trips happen throughout the year as a fun way to explore Chico. Events in the past have included fun crafts, park playdates, Cal Skate meet-up, Gymnastics2U events, movie at the theater, creek playdates, fire station tour, etc.. CMC also throws club wide parties throughout the year.

Moms Only Events

CMC has at least one moms only activity on the calendar monthly. The venue varies and cost is often partially or fully covered by CMC. We offer this a a Moms Night Out opportunity - you get to talk to adults, enjoy adult activities, and hopefully relax and enjoy yourself for a few hours each month! Events in the past have included coffee meet-ups, pedicures, dinner and a movie, painting classes, etc.. (Attached babies under 1 are always welcome to moms only events)or a few hours each month!

Book Club

The CMC has an active book club that meets once a month. This is a great way for readers to meet one another, enjoy a night out and talk about books!

Bunco

Hosted by a different member each month, this is a fun night of socializing and entertainment.  Moms enjoy a night out playing this easy dice game.
